Agency Claims & Handling: The Do's & Don'ts
I recently had the pleasure of presenting this session at the Engage Conference, hosted by the Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (PIAW). In this class, I walk insurance professionals through the essential principles of effective claims management—from initial intake to resolution. We cover best practices that protect both the agency and the client, common pitfalls that lead to delays or disputes, and actionable strategies to streamline communication, documentation, and client support. Attendees leave with practical tools and a clearer understanding of how to handle claims confidently, ethically, and efficiently.
The EMCEE for an Annual Fundraiser at the College
I had the pleasure of serving as the moderator for the college's annual insurance industry fundraiser. The event featured a distinguished panel of industry leaders who addressed a range of emerging insurance topics. The evening was a great success, raising significant scholarship funds to support students pursuing careers in the insurance field.
